On NPR today I heard a segment on how each presidential candidate is tapping into some unspoken archetypes that voters may unwillingly associate with. The campaign organizers surely are all to aware of the character they are selling the public and the narrative they are placing their character into, but their story has to stick be relevant to the public in order for their character to save the day.
